Short version: DocsCheck uses only essential cookies required to operate the platform. We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics cookies.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember information about your visit — for example, keeping you logged in.
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), we must tell you what cookies we use and obtain your consent for non-essential cookies. Because we only use essential cookies, no consent banner is required — but we explain our cookie use here in full.
Cookies we use

Cookies we do not use
We do not set or permit:
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Social media tracking pixels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X)
- Third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.)
- Any cookies used to track you across other websites
Third-party cookies
Our marketing website (docscheck.co.uk) and application (app.docscheck.co.uk) do not load third-party scripts that set cookies, with the following exception:
- Google Fonts: We load fonts from fonts.googleapis.com. Google may set a cookie or log a request when fonts are loaded. This is a technical request and does not involve personal data processing by us. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
How to manage cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to DocsCheck.
Changes to this policy
If we add new cookies in the future, we will update this page and notify registered users. The current version is always available at docscheck.co.uk/cookies.
