Refund Policy

1. Subscription-based service

DocsCheck is provided by Zayn Productions Ltd on a recurring subscription basis, billed monthly or annually in advance. Because access to the software is granted immediately upon subscription, refunds are subject to the conditions below.

2. 14-day refund window

We offer a 14-day refund period from the date of your initial subscription purchase. If you are not satisfied with DocsCheck for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your first payment, subject to the conditions below.

Eligibility for a refund

• Request made within 14 calendar days of the initial subscription payment
• Account has not been used significantly (documents checked, cases created, AI analysis run)
• The subscription has not previously been refunded

3. When refunds don't apply

• The 14-day refund window has passed
• The account has been used substantially during the refund period
• A free trial was offered and used prior to the paid subscription
• The refund request relates to a renewal charge where cancellation was not made before renewal
• The account has been suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service

4. Renewal charges

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. We do not offer refunds for renewal charges where cancellation was not made in advance. We send renewal reminder emails before each billing date.

5. Annual subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are eligible for the standard 14-day refund window from the date of purchase. After this window, annual plans are non-refundable. Cancellation of an annual plan after the 14-day window grants continued access until the end of the paid period — no partial refunds for unused months.

6. How to cancel

Cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings or by emailing hello@docscheck.co.uk. Cancellation stops future billing only and does not entitle you to a refund for the current period unless you are within the 14-day window.

7. Requesting a refund

1. Email hello@docscheck.co.uk with subject: "Refund Request — DocsCheck"
2. Include your full name, registered email address, and subscription date
3. Briefly explain your reason for requesting a refund

We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

8. Technical issues

If a significant technical failure prevents you from using DocsCheck, please contact us at hello@docscheck.co.uk. Where the issue is attributable to our platform and causes substantial disruption, we may offer a pro-rated credit or partial refund at our discretion.

9. Dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
